Who we are

We are the company responsible for the information described in this policy. If you have a privacy question, or want to exercise any of the rights below, email us at the address above.

What we collect, and how

Information you give us. You can reach us in four ways on this site, and each one is a form or tool run for us by another company:

• Contact Sales form, and the Contact Us button on the Contact page, run by SurveySparrow. We receive what you type: typically your name, organization, role, email address, phone number and your message.
• Schedule a Demo, run by Calendly. We receive your name, email address, the time you chose and anything you add to the booking.
• Newsletter sign-up, run by Brevo. We receive your first name, last name and email address, and your confirmation that you want to hear from us.
• Chat, run by Brevo, on the home page. We receive whatever you type in the chat window.

We use this information to answer you, to arrange and hold a demo, to send you the newsletter you asked for, and to follow up about our programs. We keep it in our customer relationship management and email systems, which are listed under “Who we share it with”.

Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, this one records some information about the device and browser you use:

• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records the address of each page requested, the time, your IP address and your browser type, in order to serve the site, keep it secure and defend it against abuse. These logs are kept for a short period.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are read, which links are followed, which videos are played, and how many people book a demo, contact us or sign up. We report the fact that a form was submitted or a video played, never what you typed into a form. Until you accept cookies in the notice at the foot of the page, Google Analytics runs in a mode that sets no cookies and cannot recognize you on a return visit; it receives only aggregate, cookieless signals. If you accept, Google sets its analytics cookies, which let us count returning visitors and follow a visit across days.
• Your cookie choice. Whether you accepted or declined, and when, is stored in your own browser’s storage on your device. It is never sent to us.
• Embedded players and forms. The video players (SproutVideo, and YouTube on two resource pages), the forms and the booking calendar are loaded from their providers’ servers, so those providers receive your IP address and standard browser information when the page loads, and may set their own cookies. Their policies are linked below.
• Bot protection. The newsletter form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. Turnstile checks your browser and does not identify you to us.

Information we do not collect. We do not ask for, and do not want, payment details, health information, or information about students or children on this website. This site is written for educators, employers and organizational leaders, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract);
• send you the newsletter you signed up for (with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email);
• follow up with you about our programs if you contacted us about them (our legitimate interest in running our business, balanced against your interests);
• understand how the website is used and improve it (our legitimate interest, and with your consent where cookies are involved);
• keep the site secure and defend it against abuse (our legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the companies that provide services to us, under contracts that restrict what they may do with it:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or as part of a sale, merger or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

These providers store data in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries, demo bookings and customer records: for as long as we have a business relationship with you or your organization, and afterwards for as long as we need them for the purposes above or the law requires, after which we delete or anonymize them.
• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, after which your address is kept only on a suppression list so that we do not email you again.
• Analytics data: Google Analytics keeps individual-level data for a limited period, no longer than 14 months, and aggregate reports beyond that.
• Server logs: for a short period, long enough to serve the site and investigate abuse.

Your choices and rights

• Cookies. Decline in the notice at the foot of the page, or clear your browser’s storage for this site to be asked again. Declining does not limit anything on the site.
• Email. Every newsletter and marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us.
• Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@impactfulnetworks.com. We will confirm your identity, respond within 45 days, and will not treat you differently for asking.
• Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track”. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing for these signals to opt out of. Cookies for analytics are set only when you accept them in the notice.
• Residents of the EU, UK and Switzerland also have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to their data protection authority. Residents of US states with privacy laws (California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Washington and others) may appeal a decision we make on a request by replying to our response.

Washington consumer health data

We are a Washington company that sells mental health education programs, so we want to be clear: this website does not collect consumer health data about you. Asking about a program for your school or workplace does not tell us anything about your own health, and we do not infer anything about it. If you choose to tell us something about your health in a message, we use it only to respond to you.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information: the site is served over HTTPS only, we store no customer data on the website itself, and access to the systems that hold your enquiries is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, including cctimpact.com, getgigi.org and impactfulfund.org, and to documents hosted on Google Docs and Google Drive. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not apply to them.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or by a notice on the site before it takes effect.
